This is what I’m doing right now.

Between this month and next, my wife and I will be moving to Des Moines to be closer to family. It turns out Iowa City is a pretty lonely place unless you’re going to the hospitals or university every day.
Recently my business partner and I have sort of switched roles, with him watching over our systems and processes so I can focus on a monetization plan for our podcast. I’ve spent the last month or so working on a new website for us in Wix Studio.
I received my Japanese degree in the mail at some point in February and since then have been feeling frustrated. I can’t let my years spent learning the language go to waste, but I feel stuck in this middle spot. On one end, I could leave everything I’ve built over the past several years and go through a professional reset (in other words, leave the agency and podcast to get a Japanese job). On the other end, I could tough it out for a couple more years until I have enough money saved for a business in Japan (through which I could sponsor my own visa).
I’ll most likely go back for a while this fall or winter.
