This is what I’m doing right now.

I’m living in Des Moines with my wife right now (still no kids, nor plans to have them). Since graduating last year after going back to college to get a secondary degree in Japanese, we’ve been spending a lot of quality time with family, knowing our next step will likely be a big move.
Next month, I’ll be applying for a visa to Japan. The logistics are a little strange because I both own a controlling share of my business and work as an employee within it. Fortunately, our agency has grown to a position that we have stable salaries, but are still small enough that I can continue being a technical expert rather than just manage other people.
If I never update this again, let’s hope I made it and am living deep in the mountains of Japan.
